I find that "it's a black thing" a little odd. Bisexuality in men is universally practiced and universally problematic thruout all American culture. Mark Foley, Jim McGreevey etc.
I'm bi. I love sex with lots of diff types of people. Pick your kink you know. I was part of a gangbang club where women play out their fantasies of being f*cked by anywhere from 4 - 40 different guys.
Female bisexuality from the viewpoint of the opposite sex is tacitly and or openly encouraged. Male bisexuality is inherently more problematic as it invariably "entails" ;) anal sex and the violation of at least one participants culturally constructed masculinity. I am an artist and live in a culture where some degree of libertine perversity is expected, but in more conventional parts of society "mum's the woid."I just bought the movies "Kinsey" and thought it did a great job of portraying the varieties of human sexuality as well as the main characters struggle to escape/explore his conflicts in the rationalizations of science or art.
